ASSOCIATION UPDATES

The Minnesota Volunteer I-CAR Committee, along with SkillsUSA, had a successful golf outing at the beautiful Oak Glen Golf Club in Stillwater on Wednesday, September 16. The proceeds from the outing support technical schools and students with scholarships and grants to continue the successful growth of the collision repair industry. 

AASPMN sponsored a hole at the event to help support industry education. The event was well attended and a great give-back opportunity for the industry. 

Congratulations to the team from LKQ Keystone who won first place with a score of -11. They were:

There were also many prize winners with all the donations received for the event that were presented during an awards banquet following golf. 

“We couldn’t do it without our sponsors,” said tournament coordinator, Jamison Randall. “We are pleased we were able to raise over $7,000 to be used for scholarships and grants to help the future auto body employees provide safe and quality repairs for consumers.” 

Join AASPMN For Monthly Collision Shop Meetups 

AASPMN has teamed up with collision shops in Northern MN, Central MN and the Southern Metro area for monthly conversation and education. The meetings are open to all members and non-members in the collision repair industry. These are open forum meetings with various discussion topics to help increase the health and competitiveness of the collision repair market in Minnesota. Help spread the word by bringing a guest from another shop! 

Northern MN Meetups

Central MN Meetups

Southern Metro Meetups

AASPMN Executive Director Linden Wicklund hosts open format ZOOM sessions each month for members to come together, network, swap ideas and ask questions! This ongoing opportunity to connect is designed to be a welcoming space for new ideas and everyday challenges alike. And, you don’t even have to leave your shop to participate.
